An Insulated 4-Lite French Double Door with a Soft Eyebrow Arch

This thermal break 4 lite iron French double door with eyebrow arch is designed for exterior entries that need natural light, a wider double-door opening, and better insulation than a standard non-thermal-break iron door. The eyebrow arched top gives the door a softer profile than a square-top French door, while keeping the overall shape more subtle than a full round-top design.

The 4-lite glass layout gives the door a clean divided-glass appearance without making the entry look too busy. This style works well for front entries, covered porches, and exterior openings where the customer wants a slightly arched architectural detail, but not a tall round-top or full arched entry system.

TFD274 is custom made and can be adjusted to fit the project. Although this product is shown as a 4-lite double door with an eyebrow arched top, the same style can be customized as a single door, a wider double door, or a full entry system with matching sidelights or a transom. Size, glass finish, color, swing direction, handle style, jamb depth, lite layout, eyebrow arch shape, door top design, and thermal break specifications can also be customized.

Who This Door Is Best For:
This door is best for homeowners who want an iron French double door with a softer arched top and improved insulation for an exterior entry.

It works well for front entries, covered porch openings, and homes where a square-top door may feel too plain but a full round-top door may feel too tall or traditional.

TFD274 is also a good option for customers comparing thermal break French doors, eyebrow arch French doors, 4-lite iron French doors, insulated steel French doors, and custom iron entry doors for colder or high-temperature-change climates.

FAQ:
What is an eyebrow arched top?
An eyebrow arch is a gentle, shallow arch across the top of the door. It gives the entry a softer shape than a square top without creating a full round-top profile.

What does 4-lite mean on this door?
4-lite refers to the divided-glass layout. It gives the French door a clean, structured appearance while still allowing natural light into the entry.

What does thermal break mean?
Thermal break means the metal frame includes a low-conductive barrier between the exterior and interior sides. This helps reduce heat transfer through the frame compared with a standard non-thermal-break iron door.

Can the eyebrow arch shape be customized?
Yes. The arch shape and top measurements can be adjusted based on the rough opening and approved drawing.
