2. Customize Your Door- Simple & Guided

Customizing your door is straightforward. All options are selected directly on the product page.

  • Door Type: Select your door type(single door, double door, or adding the sidelight/s )
  • Door Unit Size: Select the door size as per your opening size. Regarding the size, pls refer to our size guide. 
  • Jamb Size: The jamb size refers to the thickness (depth) of the door frame that surrounds and supports the door. It corresponds to the wall thickness the door unit is being installed into. 
  • Door Color: Popular choices: Matte Black, Oil-Rubbed Bronze. Custom colors available on request (check our Review Color Here ).
  • Glass Finish:  Choose your preferred finish(check our Glass Reference).
  • Glass Type: Generally, customers choose double-pane glass panels. However, if you are in Florida or North Carolina, where hurricanes are common, we recommend opting for triple-pane, impact-resistant glass.
  • Door Top: Select from multiple design options to match your door style.
  • Door Swing Direction: Pick based on usage. For double doors, designate one main active panel (the other is inactive, secured with flush bolts). For Aluminum Sliding & Bifold Doors, choose the sliding direction or folding pattern.
  • Door Handle Set: Choose from our available options. If using your own handle, to ensure a perfect match, we will need you to send the handle set to us for fitting testing. An additional operation fee may incur. 
  • Bug Proofing Screens: Only for decorative iron doors (attaches via magnets to iron frame/glass). Not available for French, pivot, or Aluminum Sliding & Bifold doors (due to door structure-the glass on them is fixed ).
  • Add Transom: If you will add a transom above the door, pls select the transom top, and then let us know the size you will make, then we will give the estimate accordingly.

3. Payment & Order Confirmation

     --Review the cart page before “Check Out”.

     --Click “Check Out” to submit your order.

     --Fill in your full name and accurate shipping address (critical for delivery).

   Post-Payment Steps:

  --You’ll receive an order confirmation email immediately.

  --A design drawing will be sent within 24 hours for your approval (production starts only after you approve the drawing).

4. Lead Times & Delivery

--Production + Delivery: current delivery time is 14-16 weeks after drawing approval (varies by customization level).

--Packaging: Shipped in a secure wooden crate to prevent damage.

--Delivery Service: Free curbside delivery included. White-glove service available (contact us for additional cost).

 

5. Installation 

    Installation: Doors are pre-hung for easy installation; we recommend a professional installer experienced with iron and aluminum doors. An installation guide will be sent to you once the door is finished.

Material: Standard door jamb and slab are made with heavy-duty 12-gauge steel.

Finishes: 7 coats of paint on top of zinc galvanized steel to prevent iron doors from dust & rust.

Scroll Works: 5/8” solid decorative scrolls 100% hand forged by our expert artisans.

Jamb: Standard 2" x 6" jamb injected with high-density polyurethane foam for energy saving.

Glass: All standard exterior iron doors come with dual pane tempered glass 5/8” for great safety.

Glass Window: Operable glass panels on certain styles that can be opened independently from the doors for easy cleaning and ventilation.

Thermal Break: Low conductive material acted as a barrier in the frame to reduce the flow of heat. All standard doors can be upgraded to thermally broken which is a good choice for severe cold winters.

Installation: All our doors come pre-hung for your easy installation.

If you can not find your size listed in the size options, you can email us at info@gloryirondoors.com, and then we will check the price and make the custom link for you to place the order.

Yes, we accept custom designs and custom size. Pls contact us to get your quote.

All our iron doors are pre-hung and size will include the jambs and threshold, so we will recommend the door 1" smaller in width and 1/2" shorter than your rough opening, so that the door can fit in.

For example, if the door unit size will be 72x96, then pls leave the rough opening size 73x96.5.

Shipping

We ship our doors national wide. The doors will be free shipped to the whole continental US.

Our standard leadtime is 14-16 weeks since the drawing approval date. All our doors are handmade by our artisans, so it needs a reasonable long enough production time.

Yes, we ship to Canada.
