1. Choose the door design first

We offer a variety of high-quality iron and aluminum doors to match different needs and aesthetics.

Standard Iron Entry Door

Hand-forged with elaborate iron scrollwork, these doors create a stunning entryway while providing excellent strength and weather resistance.

Standard Iron French Doors

Adding a sleek, modern look to any space while delivering reliable strength, solid security, and timeless style, these doors are perfect for tying together a contemporary home aesthetic.

Standard Iron Pivot Doors

Equipped with a premium pivot hinge system, this door brings a dramatic look, gliding open and closed with ultra-smooth operation that feels effortless every time. Plus, its sturdy iron frame guarantees long-lasting durability and reliable security, so you get both style and peace of mind.

Thermal Break Iron Doors

These doors are ideal for extreme climates, as they come with enhanced insulation that boosts energy efficiency by keeping harsh outdoor temperatures at bay-whether it’s scorching heat or freezing cold-while also ensuring your home stays consistently comfortable year-round. All our iron entry doors, iron french doors, and iron pivot doors can be updated to thermal break doors. 

Aluminum Sliding & Bifold Doors

Ideal for spaces where space-saving and easy access are key. Aluminum construction ensures durability and resistance to corrosion, while sliding and bifold mechanisms provide convenience and a modern touch.

 

2. Customize your door

  • Door Type: Select your door type(single door, double door, or adding the sidelight/s )
  • Door Unit Size: Select the door size as per your opening size. Regarding the size, pls refer to our size guide. 
  • Jamb Size: The jamb size refers to the thickness (depth) of the door frame that surrounds and supports the door. It corresponds to the wall thickness the door unit is being installed into. 
  • Door Color: Popular choices: Matte Black, Oil-Rubbed Bronze. Custom colors available on request (check our Review Color Here ).
  • Glass Finish:  Choose your preferred finish. 
  • Glass Type: Generally, customers choose double-pane glass panels. However, if you are in Florida or North Carolina, where hurricanes are common, we recommend opting for triple-pane, impact-resistant glass.
  • Door Top: Select from multiple design options to match your door style.
  • Door Swing Direction: Pick based on usage. For double doors, designate one main active panel (the other is inactive, secured with flush bolts). For Aluminum Sliding & Bifold Doors, choose the sliding direction or folding pattern.
  • Door Handle Set: Choose from our available options. If using your own handle, to ensure a perfect match, we will need you to send the handle set to us for fitting testing. An additional operation fee may incur. 
  • Bug Proofing Screens: Only for decorative iron doors (attaches via magnets to iron frame/glass). Not available for French, pivot, or Aluminum Sliding & Bifold doors (due to door structure-the glass on them is fixed ).
  • Add Transom: If you will add a transom above the door, pls select the transom top, and then let us know the size you will make, then we will give the estimate accordingly.

3. Payment & Order Confirmation

     --Click “Check Out” to submit your order.

     --Fill in your full name and accurate shipping address (critical for delivery).

    Payment Methods: Accepts major credit cards and PayPal (no PayPal registration required—log in securely to pay).

   Post-Payment Steps:

  --You’ll receive an order confirmation email immediately.

  --A design drawing will be sent within 24 hours for your approval (production starts only after you approve the drawing).

 

4. Lead Times & Delivery

--Production + Delivery: 14-16 weeks after drawing approval (varies by customization level).

--Packaging: Shipped in a secure wooden crate to prevent damage.

--Delivery Service: Free curbside delivery included. White-glove service available (contact us for additional cost).

 

5. Installation 

    Installation: Doors are pre-hung for easy installation; we recommend a professional installer experienced with iron and aluminum doors. An installation guide will be sent to you once the door is finished.

  • Material: High Quality 1.8-2.0 Aluminum Alloy profile + Tempered Glass

  • Glass Type: Double Pane Tempered Glass

  • Color: GID has different color finish options, and also accepts custom designs. 

  • Size: GID has different size options, and also accepts custom sizes. 

  • Surface Treatment: Powder coating, Anodizing, Electrophoresis, Heat transfer for wood grain, PVDF, etc. It will enhance the corrosion resistance and appearance of our aluminum doors. 

  • Package: All our doors are packed in wood crates, and industrial-strength extra-thick stretch wrap, which will protect them from accidental damage during transportation. Package includes the aluminum frames, glass panels with frame, and standard hardwares.  

  • Installation: it will require customers to let their contractor or installer install the door themselves. An installation guide will be sent. 

  • Delivery Time: about 13-15 weeks from the drawing approved date.

Yes, we accept custom designs and custom size. Pls contact us to get your quote.

All our iron doors are pre-hung and size will include the jambs and threshold, so we will recommend the door 1" smaller in width and 1/2" shorter than your rough opening, so that the door can fit in.

For example, if the door unit size will be 72x96, then pls leave the rough opening size 73x96.5.

Shipping

We ship our doors national wide. The doors will be free shipped to the whole continental US.

Our standard leadtime is 14-16 weeks since the drawing approval date. All our doors are handmade by our artisans, so it needs a reasonable long enough production time.

Yes, we ship to Canada.
