An Insulated Contemporary French Double Door with Tempered Glass
This contemporary thermal break iron French double door with tempered glass is designed for exterior entries that need natural light, a wider double-door opening, and better insulation than a standard non-thermal-break iron door. The glass-panel layout gives the entry a clean and open look, while the thermal break frame helps reduce heat transfer through the metal structure.
The contemporary design works well for homeowners who want an iron French double door without heavy scrollwork or ornate decorative details. Tempered glass is commonly used for exterior doors because it is stronger and safer than regular glass, making this style a practical option for front entries, covered porches, and custom exterior openings.
TFD030 is custom made and can be adjusted to fit the project. Although this product is shown as a contemporary double door with tempered glass, the same style can be customized as a single door, a wider double door, or a full entry system with matching sidelights or a transom. Size, glass finish, color, swing direction, handle style, jamb depth, glass layout, door top design, and thermal break specifications can also be customized.
Who This Door Is Best For:
This door is best for homeowners who want a contemporary iron French double door with clear glass panels and better insulation for an exterior entry.
It works well for modern, transitional, farmhouse, and simple traditional homes where the entry needs natural light without decorative scrollwork.
TFD030 is also a good option for customers comparing thermal break French doors, tempered glass front doors, insulated steel French doors, and custom iron front doors for colder or high-temperature-change climates.
