Glory Iron Doors Limited Warranty

 Glory Iron Doors stands behind the craftsmanship and quality of our products. Each iron door is individually handcrafted and finished, which means minor variations in color, texture, welds, and other handcrafted details are normal and are part of the unique character of the product.

This Limited Warranty applies to Glory Iron Doors products and is subject to the terms, conditions, limitations, and exclusions outlined below.

Warranty Coverage Periods

Door Finish — 3 Years

The door finish is warranted against manufacturing defects that result in abnormal rusting, flaking, or peeling for a period of 3 years from the date of delivery.

All exterior finishes naturally age when exposed to sunlight, rain, moisture, humidity, salt air, temperature changes, and other environmental conditions. Normal fading, weathering, rubbing, or finish wear caused by use or exposure is not considered a manufacturing defect.

Moving Parts & Welds — 10 Years

Moving components and welds are warranted against manufacturing defects for a period of 10 years from the date of delivery.

Normal wear items, including weather stripping, door sweeps, and thresholds, are excluded from this coverage.

Insulated Glass Seal — 1 Year

Insulated glass is warranted against seal failure resulting in abnormal fogging between the glass panes for a period of 1 year from the date of delivery.

This warranty does not cover scratches, chips, cracks, breakage, or other glass damage caused by impact, pets, foreign objects, misuse, installation, or other external causes.

What Does This Warranty Cover?

This Limited Warranty covers manufacturing defects in the materials or workmanship of Glory Iron Doors products during the applicable warranty periods listed above.

If Glory Iron Doors determines that a product or component is defective under this warranty, Glory Iron Doors may, at its discretion:

  • Repair the defective product or component;

  • Replace the defective product or component; or

  • Provide another reasonable remedy determined by Glory Iron Doors.

The location and method of repair or replacement will be determined by Glory Iron Doors.

This warranty is limited to the repair or replacement of the covered product or component. Unless otherwise required by applicable law, labor costs associated with installation, removal, reinstallation, finishing, construction, or other related work are not included.

What Is Not Covered?

This Limited Warranty does not cover damage or conditions resulting from:

  • Improper installation, handling, storage, maintenance, or adjustment;

  • Installation performed contrary to Glory Iron Doors installation instructions;

  • Damage caused by contractors, installers, builders, homeowners, or other third parties;

  • Accidents, misuse, abuse, slamming, kicking, impact, or other improper use;

  • Normal wear and tear;

  • Scratches, dents, chips, or abrasion caused by pets, shoes, tools, debris, furniture, or other objects;

  • Glass scratches, chips, cracks, or breakage;

  • Paint, acid, salt, corrosive substances, reactive chemicals, cleaning chemicals, or other substances that damage the door or finish;

  • Natural weathering, fading, rubbing, discoloration, or aging of the finish;

  • Exposure to excessive moisture, humidity, condensation, salt air, or harsh environmental conditions;

  • Acts of God, natural disasters, severe weather, or other events beyond the reasonable control of Glory Iron Doors;

  • Alterations, modifications, repairs, drilling, welding, refinishing, or other work performed by parties other than Glory Iron Doors when such work contributes to the claimed damage;

  • Removal of the door from its original installed location.

Weather stripping, door sweeps, thresholds, and other components subject to normal wear are considered maintenance items and are not covered by the warranty unless a manufacturing defect is identified at the time of delivery.

Condensation, Frost & Cold-Climate Conditions

Standard Glory Iron Doors are insulated but are not thermally broken unless specifically ordered as a thermal break door.

Because metal conducts temperature, standard iron doors installed in cold or humid climates may experience condensation, sweating, frost, or moisture on interior metal surfaces when temperature and humidity conditions create a dew point.

Condensation or frost caused by climate conditions, indoor humidity, temperature differences, or dew point is not considered a manufacturing defect and is not covered under this warranty.

For homes located in colder climates, customers should consider a thermal break door configuration for improved thermal performance.

Finish Care & Rust Prevention

Regular maintenance is important for protecting the appearance and longevity of an iron door.

If exposed metal, scratches, chips, or early signs of rust appear, the affected area should be cleaned and touched up promptly to prevent moisture from reaching the underlying metal.

Failure to maintain damaged or exposed areas may result in corrosion and may affect warranty coverage when the condition is caused or worsened by lack of maintenance.

All finishes will naturally change over time depending on exposure to sunlight, rain, humidity, salt air, temperature, and frequency of use. These natural changes are considered normal weathering rather than defects.

Handcrafted Product Variations

Glory Iron Doors are handcrafted and individually finished rather than mass-produced or cast.

As a result, minor variations may occur in:

  • Finish color or texture;

  • Hand-forged iron details;

  • Weld appearance;

  • Decorative elements;

  • Surface characteristics.

Color may also vary slightly from samples, photographs, website images, or previously manufactured doors.

These variations are normal characteristics of handcrafted products and are not considered manufacturing defects.

Installation & Labor

Unless installation is performed directly by Glory Iron Doors, Glory Iron Doors assumes no responsibility for installation workmanship or for damage resulting from improper installation.

This warranty does not include labor charges or expenses associated with:

  • Installation;

  • Removal of the door;

  • Reinstallation;

  • Construction or modification of the opening;

  • Painting or refinishing surrounding surfaces;

  • Contractor or installer fees.

Warranty coverage is limited to the eligible Glory Iron Doors product or component itself.

How to Keep Your Warranty in Effect

To help maintain your door and preserve warranty coverage:

  • Install the door properly and according to the provided installation instructions.

  • Keep hinges, locks, latches, and other moving parts clean and free of dirt and debris.

  • Inspect the finish periodically for scratches, chips, exposed metal, or signs of corrosion.

  • Touch up damaged finish areas promptly.

  • Do not slam, kick, strike, or otherwise misuse the door.

  • Avoid exposing the door to corrosive or reactive chemicals.

  • Maintain appropriate interior humidity levels to help reduce condensation in cold climates.

  • Keep your original purchase information and order number for warranty verification.

How to Submit a Warranty Claim

If you believe your Glory Iron Doors product has a manufacturing defect covered by this warranty, please contact us and provide:

  • Installation address;

  • A description of the issue;

  • Clear photos and/or videos showing the affected area;

  • Any additional information requested to help us evaluate the claim.

Glory Iron Doors will review each warranty claim fairly and objectively and may request additional photos, videos, measurements, or other documentation before determining whether the condition is covered.
