A Tall Glass French Door Look for Modern Exterior Openings

This large glass iron French double door with two sidelights is designed for tall exterior openings that need more natural light, a clean black frame, and a stronger indoor-outdoor connection. The slim divided-glass layout creates a modern French door look without scrollwork, kickplates, or heavy decorative details.

The two sidelights extend the visual width of the opening, while the double-door center section provides a generous entry point for patios, courtyards, modern front entries, and large exterior spaces. Compared with a traditional iron entry door, this design feels lighter, brighter, and more architectural.

Each door system is made to order with options for size, finish color, glass type, swing direction, handle style, sidelight width, and thermal break upgrades. Free curbside delivery is available across the continental United States.

Who This Door Is Best For:

Modern homes that need a tall glass exterior door system

Patio, courtyard, or garden-facing openings that need more light

Homeowners who prefer clean black frames instead of ornate scrollwork

Large exterior openings where a standard double door looks too narrow

Projects that need an iron French door with sidelights and a minimalist style

FAQ:

Is this better for a front entry or patio opening?
FD225 can work for modern front entries, patios, courtyards, and large exterior openings where natural light and indoor-outdoor connection are important.

What makes the two sidelights useful?
The sidelights widen the visual opening and bring in more light from both sides, making the full door system feel larger and more architectural.

Is this design suitable for customers who do not want scrollwork?
Yes. FD225 is a good choice for customers who want the strength of an iron French door but prefer a clean, glass-forward design without decorative scrolls
