Arched Entry Door with Sidelights and Transom

TED442 is a thermal break iron entry door system designed for homeowners who want an elegant arched entrance with more natural light and classic wrought iron detail. The single operating door keeps daily use practical, while the two sidelights and arched transom create a wider, taller, and more welcoming front entry.

The arched top gives the entrance a graceful custom look, and the decorative scrollwork adds traditional iron-door character without making the design feel too heavy. The expanded glass layout helps brighten the foyer, while the ironwork adds visual interest and a refined handcrafted appearance.

With thermal break construction, TED442 helps reduce heat transfer through the iron frame for better year-round comfort. Size, sidelight width, transom height, glass style, finish color, jamb depth, swing direction, handle style, and lock options can be customized.

Who This Door Is Best For

This door is best for homeowners who want an arched iron entry door with sidelights, an arched transom, decorative scrollwork, and improved insulation.

The single-door-with-sidelights layout is especially suitable for front entrances where extra natural light and a more balanced architectural look are desired without choosing a full double-door system.

TED442 is also a strong option for customers comparing thermal break iron doors, arched front doors with sidelights, and custom wrought iron entry systems for traditional or Mediterranean-style homes.

FAQ

What does this door configuration include?
TED442 includes one single operating entry door, two matching sidelights, and an arched transom, creating a complete front entry system.

Why choose sidelights and a transom?
Sidelights and a transom bring more natural light into the foyer and help the entrance feel taller, wider, and more custom-built.

Is TED442 suitable for cold-weather homes?
Yes. The thermal break frame helps reduce heat transfer through the iron structure, making it a better choice than a standard iron door for colder regions.

Does the scrollwork make the design feel too ornate?
No. The scrollwork adds classic wrought iron detail, while the clear glass layout and balanced proportions keep the design elegant and refined.
